Laura Afolabi declines to comment

In anticipation of the upcoming prom at Farrow High, JP tried to get in contact with Laura, but she was extremely evasive. We got ahold of her modelling manager, but he basically straight up declined on her behalf. So we sat down with Lainey Porter, a self-proclaimed close friend of Laura's, instead. With whispers of intrigue surrounding Laura's candidacy, we were eager to hear Lainey's thoughts on the matter.

JP: Lainey, thank you for talking to me. As someone close to Laura Afolabi, what are your thoughts on her being a shortlisted candidate for the prom queen election?

Lainey: Thanks for having me. Well, I won't deny that Laura seems to have it all. She has a massive following on social media. It's no surprise that she's loads of people's predicted winner of prom queen. She's just really pretty. And rich. And super nice, like, it's unreal.

JP: Laura's actions often speak louder than her words, and she seems to have a compassionate side. Can you tell us more about that?

Lainey: Well, I don't know for sure, but she's never on social media because she's busy with SKIMS campaigns. She also does loads of volunteering at the local homeless shelter, but she doesn't really want anyone knowing about it. Once she was staying late at the shelter and missed dinner because of it so I bought her a sandwich.

JP: There are rumors that Laura's parents are Immanuel Afolabi and Nicky Hilton. Do you know if that's true?

Lainey: Lol. Some people think that. I think that. Mr Afolabi invited me for dinner once, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're related... It's all part of the mystery that surrounds her. But honestly, who knows what the truth is? Laura likes to keep everything on the down low, and I respect that.

JP: That's so interesting. And one last thing: who do you think is gonna be this year's Prom Queen?

Lainey: It's gonna be Laura. 9000 percent.
